Interconnect locations

Crusoe Cloud Interconnect gives your network a private, dedicated connection to a Crusoe Cloud VPC. Traffic does not cross the public internet. You connect at one of Crusoe's points of presence (PoPs), and Crusoe carries your traffic from the PoP to your VPC's region.

Request Interconnect

Interconnect is available by request. Contact your Crusoe account team or Crusoe Support to get started.

Points of presence

You can order a dedicated cross-connect to Crusoe at the facilities below. If your target metro isn't listed, ask your account team about upcoming PoPs that are in development.

Connect to a point of presence

To connect with a dedicated cross-connect at any of the facilities above:

  1. Request an interconnect from your Crusoe account team or Crusoe Support, select a PoP from the table above, and have the following ready:

    • Your Crusoe organization ID and the VPC the interconnect will attach to.
    • The PoP you want to connect at, and your cage, rack, and patch panel details in that facility.
    • Your BGP autonomous system number (ASN), public or private.
    • The prefixes you will advertise to Crusoe. These must not overlap your VPC's CIDR.
    • A technical contact who can stay engaged from design through turn-up.
    note

Your account team will send you a turn-up questionnaire to collect the remaining facility and BGP details.

  2. Crusoe issues a Letter of Authorization and Connecting Facility Assignment (LOA-CFA) for a port on its patch panel.

  3. You order the cross-connect from the facility operator and pay the operator's recurring fee directly.

  4. The operator runs fiber between your patch panel and Crusoe's. That fiber is dedicated to you.

Supported port speeds

The following port speeds are supported by default:

  • 10 Gbps
  • 100 Gbps
  • 400 Gbps

For other port speeds and custom connectivity options, contact your Crusoe account team, Crusoe Sales, or Crusoe Support.

Plan for redundancy

A single interconnect is a single point of failure, regardless of how many links it contains. For production workloads, Crusoe recommends two interconnects in diverse facilities, for example one in Northern Virginia and one in Chicago. If you need full bandwidth during a single failure, size each path for the full rate.
